On weekends, students of the one-year MSM programs went on an excursion to the beautiful city of Dresden, which is located in Germany, near the Czech border.
Dresden is a city of contrasts. Almost all of its center was destroyed during the Second World War, and rebuilt anew after its completion. Also this corner of Saxony is rightfully considered one of the cultural centers of Germany – four galleries are located here, which are the part of the complex of Dresden State Art Collections.
On an early Saturday morning, the children gathered near one of our residences, where curators and buses were waiting for them. The trip to Dresden took only 2 hours. In the city the guide was waiting for students, who told them all the most interesting facts from the history of Dresden. After the walking tour, the children had free time, which they devoted to visiting museums, shopping and tasting German dishes.
