Doesn’t matter how good you swim, if you have fun
There is nothing better then a run-up jump into the cool water on a hot day with making splashes fly, and happy laughter of friends that you hear around! On June 11, a visit to the Podoli pool, accompanied by MSM coordinators and supervised by experienced Czech lifeguards, provided our students of summer programs with real deliverance from the hot city!
“Podoli” is a favorite swimming pool not only for tourists, but also for the Czechs themselves, who are trying to get here at every opportunity or a good weather in order to get a break from work or study. There is peace and at the same time – some sense of celebration. In this sport complex there are several swimming pools for adults and teenagers with tracks of fifty meters in length, one inside and two outside. For those who like to have some extreme adventure and have fun at the “Podoli”, a slide with a separate pool is opened.
It is possible to swim in the outdoor pool and then move to the sauna or a huge relaxing jacuzzi with a small fountain. However, the students started to jump into the jacuzzi today and they liked it!
Also on this day, students had the opportunity to sit on the grass, talk and just discuss their future plans. And for those who want to relax from sport, there were two restaurants with sandwiches and soft drinks available – one right next to the pool, the other on the second floor, which provides you with a beautiful view of the complex.
The students enjoyed the good weather one hundred percent! For them, MSM has prepared a lot of fun and educational activities, because our mission is not only to provide you with a good quality educational program and develop language skills, but also to arrange unforgettable leisure for students so that time in Prague will be remembered with a smile!
