MSM Football Academy is not just a football academy in Prague; it is a real football epicenter in Europe where dreams come true! Our Academy is a place where intensive sports training takes place, where the professional future of football players is formed, as well as their academic success.

Our Academy is a powerful dual project in which young football players receive the opportunity for quality training both on the field and in the academic sphere. Here we offer not only football training with professional coaches, but also intensive preparation programs for admission to the best universities in the Czech Republic and Europe.

Studying programs:

Based on the MSM Football Academy, unique educational programs have been developed, including intensive sports training and the study of Czech or English languages. Our coaches and facilitators carefully monitor the balance between football and learning, ensuring success in both areas.

Successful completion of the training program at MSM Football Academy opens doors to the best universities in Europe, and for our talented athletes, it provides the opportunity to sign contracts with leading football clubs in the Czech Republic and Europe.

Our training is carried out at the leading sports club of the Czech Republic, SK Sparta Praha, under the guidance of an experienced coach, Mykhailo Starostyak, a former player of the Ukrainian national team and coach of the FC Shakhtar U-21 team. The MSM Football Academy team actively participates in the official Prague league and the Czech Cup, attracting the attention of scouts from professional clubs.

Our A-team at MSM Football Academy participates in the official Prague league and the official Czech Cup. All our players have official Czech status, which automatically gives them the status of European players.

Every year, our A-team plays about 40 official matches and 20 friendly games! Scouts from professional Czech football clubs are present at every match. All major games are recorded on video and posted on our official website and social networks.

Members of MSM Football Academy have preferential rights to watch the top teams in the Czech Republic throughout the year! Our coaching staff and scouts closely monitor the training process and results of each player, carefully selecting potential candidates to sign professional contracts.

MSM Football Academy was founded in 2011 and, during this time, has achieved significant results and recognition in Czech football. Our graduates successfully perform in the second, first, and highest leagues of the Czech Republic. We have the unique opportunity to train on the club’s fields with natural and artificial turf, depending on the weather. Specialists take care of the fields daily, thoroughly preparing them for training and games.

Over the years of our continuous work in Prague, we have been joined by many famous football partners and sponsors who want to continue successful cooperation and receive promising young players from us. Meet the stellar line-up of MSM Football Academy coaches!

MIKHAIL STAROSTYAK

At MSM Football Academy, every training session and game takes place under the strict guidance of Mikhail Starostyak, a former super talented and famous football player, and now an experienced and competent coach. Mikhail played for the Ukrainian national team in 17 matches, played 254 official games in the Ukrainian top league, and played 36 matches in European cups. He was the main player of FC Shakhtar Donetsk, and after finishing his playing career, he received a PRO coaching license and became the head coach of the U-19 and U-21 teams of FC Shakhtar Donetsk. Since 2022, Mikhail has been the head coach of the MSM Football Academy in Prague, where his wealth of experience and knowledge is key to the success of each student.

IGOR YUKHIMENKO

Igor began his journey in football at the legendary Dynamo Kyiv at the age of 8. Together with the Dynamo Kyiv team, he became the winner of the Kyiv Cup and the champion of Ukraine in junior football. In subsequent years, he played for Metalist Kyiv and represented the national team of Tashkent and the Samarkand region of the Uzbek SSR during his military service. Later, returning to Metalist Kyiv, Igor ended his playing career in 1994. He notes that he truly enjoys working as a coach, passing on his knowledge and many years of experience to young talents. His life credo is to remain in the memory of children and students.

MARTIN FRYDEK

Martin Frydek made his debut for the first “big” club of Czechoslovakia, Sparta Prague, in 1990. He made 177 appearances and scored 27 goals for the Spartans. With Frydek as part of the Sparta Prague team, several championship titles and cups were won. After performing at the 1996 European Championship, he went to Germany, where he signed a contract with Bayer Leverkusen, and finished his career at Dukla Prague. His total European Cup stats include 18 appearances in the European Cup and 12 in the UEFA Cup. He also played for the national teams of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic and became vice-champion of Europe in 1996.

EVA GANYAKOVA

Eva is a former football player and captain of the Czech women’s national football team. She led the Czech women’s youth team and worked at the AC Sparta Praha academy as head coach of the U-17 women’s team. Thanks to her unique coaching methodology and tactical training, many strong female football players had the opportunity to reach their potential. In 2014, Eva was awarded the prestigious Vaclav Jira Doctor of Science award for her contribution to the development of Czech football, and in 2023 she was recognized as the most significant female footballer in the history of the Czech Republic.

We pay special attention to the exchange of experience and cooperation with coaches and scouts from the best teams in the Czech Republic. Specially invited coaches and scouts from major leagues add variety to the organization of training and closely monitor our players as potential recruits for their clubs. Our Academy conducts tactical training classes, and games are recorded on camera and analyzed in detail with the coaches. Our football players become full-fledged official players of the Czech Football Federation and get the opportunity to participate in official matches of the leagues of the Czech Republic, the Czech Cup, and international tournaments.

Students pay a registration fee to the Czech Football Federation to officially register as a player in the Czech Republic. This registration is valid for the entire stay in the Czech Republic, regardless of whether they play for the MSM Academy or for FC Sparta Prague.

The six-month MSM Football Academy program includes preparatory courses in Czech or English, aimed at successfully learning the language and preparing for admission to state universities in the Czech Republic. Studying in Czech at public universities in the Czech Republic is free, and we help program participants successfully cope with entrance exams. We also offer English language training and certification for successful admission and study at English-speaking universities.
