MBA Program

MBA program is a 2-year program offered by The International Union of Youth in cooperation with The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.

In order to be accepted to this programme you must have a completed Bachelor’s degree, and if it was not in the English language, you must also provide evidence of English language proficiency by submitting English language certificate (87-109 TOEFL or 5.5-6.0 IELTS). Foreign students are accepted on the same conditions as the locals and there are no restrictions during the course of study.

The program has been developed with a purpose of educating future leaders and professionals in business area at the international level. The graduates of this MBA program will have many career opportunities in local and international companies – banking, management research institutes, and private development institutions.

Your Study Will Be Organized Like This:

  • The classes will be taught in English by Czech and international visiting professors from the partner universities of CULS,
  • Study groups will be comprised of both Czech and foreign students,
  • You will have a certain number of obligatory subjects and some optional subjects,
  • You will perform project based work,
  • You will have interactive computer work,
  • You will have to write Bachelor’s thesis.

After each 12-week course period you will have 5 weeks of course examinations. Most exams are oral and written, and last for approximately 3 hours. Usually if you don’t pass the exam on your first try, you have 2 more attempts. Some courses may be assessed according to the evaluation of your individual or group project. In some cases an additional assessment may be conducted by either an internal or external examiner to ensure that the project is evaluated properly.

Studies are completed with a state examination, which consists of 2 parts. First, you will sit exams in specific subjects and then defend your Bachelor’s thesis before a committee. Upon successful completion of the examination you will receive a University diploma and a Master’s degree (MBA).
