One year Czech course at VŠCHT + English.

The one-year Czech course at VŠCHT (University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague) is developed specifically to help those who want to enter the best universities in the Czech Republic. The main advantage of studying in the Czech Republic, in addition to high-quality European education, is the opportunity to study for free in the local language. Thanks to these courses, our students enter not only VŠCHT, but also other public and private universities in the Czech Republic.

The program was designed by the International Union of Youth together with one of the leading public universities in the Czech Republic – the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (VŠCHT). Since 2007, MSM has been helping students from all over the world get a prestigious European education. During this time, we have created and implemented many unique educational projects, including intensive preparatory courses for entering Czech universities.

The Czech course at VŠCHT includes not only intensive language classes but also an intense cultural and entertainment program with tours around Prague and the Czech Republic, as well as trips to nearby countries. Throughout the program, each student is assisted by attentive managers and curators, starting from the stage of collecting documents and ending with the selection of universities and the submission of applications.

History and Education.

VŠCHT was founded in 1952 in Prague and since then it has managed to become one of the most prestigious universities in the Czech Republic. It is famous not only for progressive teaching methods but also for famous alumni. There are the owners of large enterprises, famous scientists, and other prominent figures among them. Some of the professors are Nobel Prize winners.

The multinational student community has a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Students from all over the world exchange their experiences, make useful contacts, and support fellow students in all their endeavors.

European diplomas that graduates receive open up a lot of opportunities for young professionals. A large percentage of graduates choose a job in their specialty, because the acquired knowledge and skills are easy to apply in practice. Internships play an important role, too. Most students take internships with local companies, including international organizations. There are numerous exchange programs for the most capable and diligent students.

22-26 hours of language classes per week (Czech + English + profile subjects)

The course ends with an exam to confirm the knowledge of the Czech language, which the student gained during the course. The student receives a certificate of the SERR sample, corresponding to the achieved results.

University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague sends students to the USA, Canada, Germany, the UK, and other countries all over the world every year as part of several international student exchange programs. The most famous of them are ERASMUS, ATHENS, CEEPUS, MOBI, Visegrad Fund, FULBRIGHT, AKTION, etc. If students meet the selection criteria, they can spend the third year or the last semester of studies at the Universities of Zurich or Munich, Oxford, or other educational institutions famous throughout the world.

List of the services we provide when you choose our Czech courses in Prague:

  1. Assistance in collecting documents and filling in an application for a long-term visa to the Czech Republiс for the duration of the program; providing the documents required for the visa – the confirmation of studies and the confirmation of accommodation.
  2. Processing of Czech medical insurance for the period of studies. Insurance is paid separately by the student. The cost of insurance depends on the covered services.
  3. Meeting a student on the day of arrival in Prague (airport, bus, or railway station).
  4. Connecting a student’s phone to a local mobile operator.

  11. If necessary, we accompany our students to hospitals. Besides, our curators also act as interpreters from English into Czech at doctor’s appointments. The student must have health insurance.
