One year English course + preparation for medical universities in the Czech Republic

The program was made by the International Union of Youth in Prague with the assistance of the best professors. The course is for those who would like to enter medical specialties in English at the best universities in the world. Classes are taught by experienced professors. This course takes into account all the requirements for admission at universities.

Studying medicine in English will allow students to find jobs around the world, including highly paid positions in the US and Germany, establish international cooperation, and use the language for personal purposes.

Leading medical universities in the Czech Republic

Studying medicine at Charles University (Univerzita Karlova)

Charles University is the oldest university in the Czech Republic and one of the first universities in Europe (founded in 1348 by decree of King Charles IV). Today, the university is practically a monopoly and leads the best medical universities in the Czech Republic. The university has 5 medical faculties. Each of them conducts active research activities. Charles University cooperates with the largest clinics in Prague (FN MOTOL, VFN, ÚVN, Thomayerova nemocnice, Nemocnice Na Bulovce). Graduates have access to internships abroad and about 1,000 doctoral study programs, as well as international research programs and grants.

This program is developed to prepare students for admission to all medical specialties at Charles University.

Studying Biomedicine at Czech Technical University (ČVUT)

Thanks to the active cooperation of MSM with ČVUT, after completing this course, students also have the opportunity to enter the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and study in English.

This progressive and young faculty, since 2005, has combined the work of physicians and the research department. You can find here the most advanced areas, such as: nanotechnology in medicine, the development of new biocompatible materials, and sensor technologies.

The university has the best equipment for research and experimental activities, for example, a unique simulation department with intensive care conditions. The faculty cooperates with a number of organizations, including Health Technology Assessment in the Czech Republic, EAMBES (The European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering and Science) and Erasmus-Mundus CEMACUBE.

The course ends with an exam to confirm the knowledge of the English language, which the student gained during the course. The students receive a certificate of the SERR sample, corresponding to the achieved results.

  1. Assistance in collecting documents and filling in an application for a long-term visa to the Czech Republiс for the duration of the program; providing the documents required for the visa – the confirmation of studies and the confirmation of accommodation.
  2. Processing of Czech medical insurance for the period of studies. Insurance is paid separately by the student. The cost of insurance depends on the covered services.
  3. Meeting students on the day of their arrival in Prague (airport, bus, or railway station).

  11. If necessary, we accompany our students to hospitals. Our curators also act as interpreters from English into Czech at doctor’s appointments. The student must have health insurance.
  12. During the period of studies, all consulting and other support on living and studying in the Czech Republic are provided.
