The first weekend in Prague MSM students devoted to discovering of one of the most interesting cities in Europe – Dresden. During the Second World War the city was razed to the ground and rebuilt again after the war according to surviving architectural plans. MSM students visited the main attractions of the city – the richest exhibition of jewelery and Old Masters Picture Gallery

MSM students visited National Technical Museum in Prague

On the 8th of July summer camp students visited one of the most exciting museums in Prague – Technical museum. In the twentieth century the National Technical Museum has earned the status of the best museum of its kind in Europe. The museum exhibits collections of historical vehicles, technological constructions, as well as the oldest astronomical instruments (for example, an old astronomical clock, which belonged to the famous astronomer Tycho Brahe)

Zoo excursion

On Thursday, the students went on a fascinating walk through the Prague Zoo, which is one of the largest in Europe. It is located on two levels which are connected by a cable car. In the park there are thematic pavilions with Savannah animals (zebras, giraffes, elephants, etc.), with the gorillas, big cats, reptiles and others. One of the most appreciated pavilions are the Indonesian Jungle and the Monkey Island where you can have a look at the luxuriant flora and fauna of the jungle or practically play with the cute lemurs

Welcome party MSM

Greetings from Prague to everyone! On Tuesday the International Union of Youth welcomed students coming for July course and arranged a party to help children get to know each other better and make friends. Show program, competitions and stand-up performance left nobody indifferent. All who came received a huge charge of positive emotions, and somebody was lucky even to win nice prizes. Sports day with MSM

The MSM traditional and students’ favorite event took place on Sunday: The sports day. MSM counselors arranged several team competitions for children. Beach volleyball, football and basketball – is there any better way how to spend a sunny day of holiday? And is there something that can unite children more than mutual victory?

Guided excursion to Prague castle

On Sunday 3rd of July students continued with their sightseeing tours in the historical center of Czech capital: this time they visited Prague Castle – the world biggest castle complex. Their excursion included visit of the St. Vitus cathedral, castle courtyard, castle halls and gallery. Students were lucky to witness Changing the Guard ceremony and they could also take lots of great pictures

Guided sightseeing tour in Prague Old town

This year July camp starts with weekend, which means that children have two days to discover Czech capital – Prague before the classes get started. On Saturday 2nd of July students departed on a guided tour to Prague best known sights: Charles Bridge, Wenceslas square and Old town square. Without any exaggeration The Old town can be called the real soul and heart of Prague. It possess its own and unique atmosphere which is created by old buildings in different architectonical styles, numerous cafes and young people from all over the world sitting right on the pavement and watching shows of street artists

Farewell party

June camp is drawing to a close and it is time to say goodbye and to sum up the results of the courses. After the festive dinner, the students were awarded with medals, certificates and diplomas for achievements in their studies. Later in the evening students could enjoy the cultural program which included competitions among the students and performances of various kinds.

Aqua park visit

This Monday the students and MSM counsellors went to the largest aqua park in the Central Europe. A variety of water slides and entertainments left a very good impression on the students

Sports Day with MSM!

Students of summer courses in MSM language Academy took part in the Day of Sports. During the event, held on the 26th of June, students participated in football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and frisbee team completions. Games caused huge interest among the children and gave students the opportunity to take a break from their studies and really have some fun.
