Graduates of Czech universities with a degree in biochemistry begin their working life in the academic sector, they can work for major international biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies, with the possibility of starting their own company in case of a successful and promising project.
“Biomedical engineering” is a very promising specialty, nowadays medical clinics and companies supplying medical equipment are short of workers, and therefore interested in young and progressive specialists in this field. The need to develop and create medical equipment, devices, computer systems and software used in healthcare has led to an annual increase in the number of university places available for applicants. Even during their studies, students begin to actively cooperate with clinics and medical specialists.
Industrial design is a special service for the development of products and systems that optimise the value and appearance of a product for the mutual benefit of the manufacturer and the final customer. Industrial design is used quite extensively, ranging from the design of everyday consumer items to the automobile industry. This specialty emphasizes the development of creative thinking and the ability to design a wide variety of products. At Czech universities, students of Industrial Design start working on specific company projects while they are students. Foreign internships are a special feature of the studies.

Cybernetics is the science devoted to connecting the reality around us with information technologies. Today it is not easy for companies to find a highly qualified specialist in cybernetics, which leads to a high demand for graduates of this specialty. Even during their studies, students receive invitations to internships from computer technology giants such as Google and Microsoft, as well as major European automotive companies.
